Valle del Poggio

We are happy to welcome you in a family atmosphere and offer you a comfortable and relaxing stay in the quiet and tranquillity of the green hills of Umbria, between Gubbio and Assisi.
The Valle del Poggio farm covers an area of 32 hectares of hilly land (550 metres above sea level) in the district of Nocera Umbra within easy reach of the most beautiful art cities of Umbria, situated as it is 200 metres from the Flaminia main road (ample parking even for large coaches). The buildings are surrounded by pastureland, organically cultivated land and a pinewood. A river and a small lake complete the scene.

Each apartment has its own garden with outdoor furniture, a barbecue, ample parking including a covered parking space, games for children and facilities for the disabled. There is a shuttle-service to and from the railway station (the nearest stations are Gaifana, Nocera Umbra, Gualdo Tadino, Fossato di Vico).

Guided walks to look for truffles and mushrooms with trained dog and suitable equipment.
Hiking and mountain-biking along quiet tracks, passing through the farm's woods, pastures and meadows.
Guests may visit the farm and take part in various activities, such as sheep-shearing, olive-picking and all the farmwork (sowing, haymaking etc.).
Production and sale of typical produce: cheese, olive oil, fruit and vegetables in season.
